Crypto Prop Firms: Audit Rounded Quantity and Position Caps
A crypto prop comparison should identify the actual product before reviewing a proposed quantity. Spot ownership, a futures position, a dollar-valued cap and an account loss floor are separate fields. The arithmetic is useful only when their units and sources are explicit.

Use the purchased market’s specification
HashHedge’s guide describes crypto futures for its Crypto + TradFi route and does not offer spot crypto trading there. Its instrument guide distinguishes a per-position figure from an aggregate instrument limit. Read the current terminal specification for the precise instrument and stage.
A cap expressed in dollar notional is not automatically a number of coins. Preserve quote units, leverage treatment and the quantity convention before converting it. A limit copied from another asset should not be used as a universal allowance.
Reject an unsuitable fictional rounded candidate
Suppose a teaching record supplies a desired quantity of 0.0097, a quantity step of 0.001 and a minimum of 0.01. Rounding down gives 0.009, which remains below the supplied minimum. The candidate therefore does not satisfy that specification.
Rounding up to 0.01 changes exposure and the assumed cost or loss amount. It needs a new check against the budget and all other conditions; it is not a free correction. These invented inputs are not current limits for a specific HashHedge coin.
| Input or step | Value | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Desired quantity | 0.0097 | Original intention |
| Quantity step | 0.001 | Round-down candidate 0.009 |
| Minimum quantity | 0.01 | Candidate below minimum |
| Possible increase | 0.01 | Recheck exposure and budget |
Preserve account and execution observations
This site’s existing tick-and-quantity checker can help review rounded candidates. Use a matching price observation when translating quantity into a notional estimate. Then keep the actual accepted order and unique fills separate from that proposed value.
A valid quantity step does not guarantee a fill or a favourable exit. Fees, funding and floating result may also affect the account. An incomplete position set cannot establish the remaining room to a loss boundary.
Choose a programme with the actual record available
Check supported markets, current caps, costs, daily rules and eligibility before buying an evaluation. A localised English page for a Singapore audience is not confirmation that a particular resident may participate.
The HashHedge link below is optional. The quantity exercise works without an account, and it makes no prediction of profit, passing or payment.
